Job Overview
Bellinis Ristorante is looking for an Experienced & Qualified Line Cook for day and night shifts, including weekends. Full and Part-time positions available immediately.
This line cook/prep cook position will be in a Fine-Dining, Italian infused steakhouse that is very fast-paced and high pressure
Responsibilities
Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
Plating prepared foods based on chef's guidance
Working to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Prep on the fly
Work as a team player and assist others as needed
Properly shutting down stations and cleaning of kitchen after shift.
Skills
Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
Must have an experience in cooking
Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team
Must be able to work quickly in a confined area and stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail
Food Handler Certification
Must have an open availability schedule
Starting pay will depend on experience.
